Riov Anahos entered the Romulan Starfleet against his fathers wishes, his father originally wanted him to pursue a career in business. Anahos felt that the best way to be patriot was to defend his nation in the Romulan Star Navy. He rose through the ranks fairly quickly, after exposing some major corruption that involved his commander and a well known political figure. After seeing his skills in this area, he was seduced into the Tal’Shair (both literally and figuratively) by one of their top female agent. He now serves as Commander of the RIS Aehallh Hnoiyika -- awaiting the call to defend his homeland against all threats -- externally and internally.

Allthough Riov Anahos can handle protracted engagements, his preference is to close the enemy and use phaser marksmanship to take advantage of opportunities -- though he is fond of a coup de grace to finish a fight.
