the
RIS Child's Blood have been documentated as possible commands. Verification
is
impossible at this time due to Tal Shiar counteroperative activity. |

Born to the family of a Romulan Senator in the Earth year 2318
upon an Imperial Starliner touring the glorious Grand Praetor Nebula Cluster, Emerald Edge, is as proud and as patriotic a Romulan as any Romulan could hope to be.
Having been identified early as a born commander, he quickly rose through
the ranks of the Romulan military. His first command the RIS Renegade, was a typically brashly named frigate where only the captain received adequate quarters and the gravity generation units would consistantly fail. However after destroying a Gorn convoy carrying the tasty snack treat, "Chocodiles" from under the snout of an up and coming Gorn captain known as S'Cipio, Emerald Edge was swiftly promoted to a new more capable ship. Unfortunately the class and hull type of this vessel are not
available at this time due to the difficulty of penetrating Romulan intelligence networks. The official biography of Emerald Edge (where most of the information provided here was gained and available from www.amazon.rom) is the only information that is available to outsiders, all other details of his life having been hidden by the Romulan intelligence agency, the Tal Shiar. In addition to his command of a starship, Emerald Edge owns several large Romulan Ale production concerns. Showing typical Romulan guile, he attempted to kill off his enemies by sending poisoned bottles of his Romulan ale to Federation officers.
Ironically it is because of these actions that many Starfleet doctors believe that Romulan Ale is unsafe for human consumption and thus have had the product banned. The resulting creation of a black market within the Federation for Romulan Ale have since increased it's price considerably and the profits of Emerald Edge Romulan Ale Brewers Inc. by 43%.

A fight with Emerald Edge is rather like fighting a shadow.
The master of deception many opponents have been caught unwares as the Romulan
captain decloaks his vessel only to unlease burning plasma death on his enemy.
Never one to complain, he prefers to do his talking through the barrel of a phaser.
If you see a Romulan ship with the name Child's Blood or Swooping Hawk proudly displayed on hull, there is no shame in fleeing. But hope beyond hope that your wily Romulan opponent hasn't just cloaked. Otherwise you'll never know which way
to run
