Fornax began his career in the Imperial Klingon Navy
shortly after graduation from the KCA (Klingon Command
Academy) with Honors. Initially posted to the IKV
Qomo Val, he was recruited as weapons officer aboard
the IKV Riskadh by HoD Legmar. Following a short
series of skirmishes with the Romulans, he was rapidly
promoted to the rank of la’ and given duties as First
Officer.
Later in his career, he was successful in removing a
number of pirate ships then operating in Klingon space
while under detached duty with the Internal Security
Forces then under Torgh and later T’rkal.
Unfortunately, personal duties on the homeworld
prevented his participation in the battle with Gorn
warships off the Flagrante Bello nebula.
During the battle, the GCS Gheist destroyed the IKV
Vesquim with two of his sons, Skag and Garnaq onboard.
With then totlh Y’Aarg the two spent nearly three
years on board the IKV Hegh Qij and the IKV yoHtIQ to
hunt down the GCS Gheist and GCS Inexorable which had
also participated in the destruction of the Vesquim. Victory was achieved through the use of an unorthodox ambush strategy that is now required reading at the Klingon Military Academy.
Once revenge had been attained, Fornax spent a few years under detached duty with Klingon Intelligence removing a few pirates that had decided to relocate into Klingon space first under ajHom (General) Torgh and later ajHom T’rkal. Command of the IKV Ghol Ghor (K-D7W) was later given to then HoD Fornax but the ship was listed as missing during the chaotic starship battle in the q’eem sector.
Several years later, Fornax was found and returned to
Qo’nos joining the House of Martok under ‘aj Kalen.
Given control of selected production facilities during
the Starlance General War, the House rose to
prominence amongst the Great Houses of the Klingon
High Council. Further border conflicts in the both
the SG and afCUB quadrants revealing one thing, aj’Hom
Fornax true talents were not in his ability to command
single starship, but, instead, to command fleets of
starships.
Fornax(Mike) has fought extensively during the early Arcticfire Wars, the Rooks Tavern Conflicts and
in the somewhat sortlived ISC War of Pacification with honour and distinction. The House of Martok has fallen into decline but he still has many friends amongst the Klingon Empire including a few from his own House, even now. Mostly he likes to blow up J’inn being quoted as saying “Nice One”.

Not a master of any one given set of weapon systems or
fighting styles, is particularly proficient with
saber-dance and plasma ballet. Tends to a more
cautious fighting style willing to allow patience and
persistence to wear opponents down and then deliver
the crippling blow before they realize they no longer
even have the option to disengage.
