Lance D`Gahmah’s childhood past is unknown. The only parent he remembers was a female human who had supposedly adopted him at a young age. Her name was Martha Maxwell, the mother of the famed Federation commander Thomas Maxwell, who fought in the imfamous ArticFire wars. The names of his biological parents are unknown.
He joined the Gorn Confederate Navy at age 13 and was stationed on the starship GCS DeusEx, an HDD class Destroyer possitioned on the Gorn-Romulan Boarder. By The time hes was 17, He was in command of his first ship, the GCS Tempus Vernum, an FF+ class standard Frigate. He served on the Gorn-Federation boarder, doing tasks ranging from assisting merchant cargo ships to escorting Federation diplomats across the boarder.
On the date of 2287.54, Lance D`Gahmah was assigned the task of assisting a Federation starship to the Gorn-Federation neutral zone, and then down to the Gorn-Romulan boarder. That Federation starship was the USS Sherman, A New Jesery class BCH. Her captain was Thomas Maxwell, son of the lady who adopted Lance at a young age. Lance and Thomas were good friends. One could say they were almost brothers. But on their way to the Romulan boarder, The USS Sherman and the GCS Tempus Vernum were ambushed by three Romulan Kondor class DN’s. Thomas Maxwell battled all three ships to the death, Giving time for Lance and his crew to flee the system. Because of his courage and bravery, The Gorn Confederation established a memorial plaque dedicated to the memory of Thomas Maxwell and the USS Sherman, which resides to this day at the Gorn War Memorial Section, located in the Gorn Confederate Capital Building, Rooms 12, 13, 14 and 15, Right Wing, First Floor. Lance has an immeasurable hatred toward Romulans since.
On 2287.98, after serving two years onboard the GCS Tempus Vernum, He was assigned the rank of Sr. Commander First Class. Due to the ever increasing disputes ands boarder skirmish’s with the Romulans, He was assigned the commanding possistion onboard the GCS Anachronox, A CCH class starship, where he has been serving since.

Lance is a very skillful commander. He treats every enemy ship as if it had the ability to destroy him. He believes "Over confidence will be ones downfall", and is prepared for most situations even before the first shoot is fired.
