Hathor is a unique cat. She is actually the sister of Ra, the ancient
Egyptian Sun God. Being a Goa’uld, Hathor enjoys the benefits of her
sarcophogus and being held in high regard by the Lyrans. Upon the
razing of her Goa’uld temple on earth and the subsequent destruction
of Ra and most of his empire the Goa’uld have all but been destroyed. Hathor was adrift in space for many centuries until the lyran hero
"Halifax" chanced upon her shuttle. Assuming it was yet another find
of some importance, tractored the vessel and brought it aboard for
investigation. Upon opening the shuttle’s main cargo door, life-support
and sensors came online. Hathor was instantly awakened from her
sarcophogus and quickly read what the scanners had supplied her.
Very pleased she opened her sarcophogus and introduced herself to
the Lyrans. Halifax was at once taken aback by the robotic feline head
and volumptous terran body of this newcomer. Negotiations soon
followed and the alliance between Goa’uld and Lyran’s was sealed.
