Born to a family within the Hydren aristocracy, the self styled Earl of the Fifth Moon of Hydrax (note: there are only 4 moons orbiting Hydrax) used the fame and fortune of his family to set up a new fleet which he named the Hydran Foreign Legion. After impressing several non-Hydran captains with his ability to tell which end of a cow was which not to mention his ability to fly a starship like a three armed possessed monster, he managed to recruit several of them into his new fighting force. After several tragic accidents with poorly fitting oxygen helmets (supplied by Emerald Edge Oxygen Helmets and Political Assassinations Limited) the new fleet looked as though it would not survive for very long. However despite Romulan intrigues the Foreign Legion saved the day for the Pacifists on many occassions during the ISC War of Pacification denying the enemy local superiority in several key battles and earning the respect of friend and foe alike.
Final note: It is interesting to note that there is a myth that Hydrans cannot tell which end of the Earth cow is which. This stems from the large amount of methane which is produced by the cows posterior, wrongly leading the first Hydran scientist to encounter one to believe that the back is in fact the front. This simple mistake has led to much mirth at Hydran expense amongst civilised worlds. Another equally irrelevant fact relates to the first combat encounter between a Klingon and Hydran vessel in the general war. Whilst teasing the Hydran captain about the anatomy of a cow, the Klingon captain met his doom when he released that he had mistaken the front of the Hydran vessel for the back. This simple mistake has led to much mirth at Klingon expense amongst civilised worlds.
Having studied many races strategies and starships, Ole uses a composite of fighting styles to great effect. His fighter squadrons piloted by fearless pilots from across the galaxy are amongst the most feared in the quadrant.
When fighting Ole however, concentrating on his fighters alone can be suicide as the mothership may be seconds behind preparing a deadly knockout punch.
